After working with problem based learning I really find it beneficial. I think that being able to use
PBL brings a whole level of personalization that students can get out of project compared to normal learning. Within PBL, students are able to bring in their own passions to the project and help them get more out of the experience. I think that as a teacher, you are able to plan a topic that is more student centered. Yes, this may be more work for the teacher up front when it comes to planning and organizing, but the students really benefit from the passion that teachers put into it. Overall, I feel that PBL benefits all parties involved.
